Lacking the Materials

Journal: Lacking the Materials

Its a foundational problem that exists. Its a structural flaw that is critically inhibiting.
It can be very easy to see how the importance of having good character is not just a good thing to have, but a vital thing.
One of the primary reasons that people’s lives turn bad or go to waste, is because we make our lives out of, in the first place, are things that are literally wasteful and bad. A reason that is super obvious, but i think that for some reason or another, it also goes unnoticed.
Possibly perhaps because there are other things that are attentions are heavily convicted with…
But the basic fact is...
When a life doesn’t have the proper types of fiber to its being, it will start to fall apart.
I have to ask myself sometimes , what are these lives that are being built made out of? At least in a figurative sense, the walls of most houses in our society[houses being bodies of people, walls of skin and hair that house human minds, human spirits] are made of gingerbread and rice crispy treats. Sealed together with a mixture of stale bread crumps, and lemon juice.
We sit around and do nothing else but watch mass amounts of tv on the tv, social media on our phones. We spend good amounts of mentality and emotion talking about things in a manner of bias and ignorance. And we very well spend our time doing other things that have their roots in wasteful unhealthy unproductive concepts. Supporting things and activities that really have no real “greater” purpose to them, and many others that have no purpose to them at all.
So Clearly we do all this!
I bet if half of us were truly honest about the way that we live, then we would no doubt be able to see that we clearly do it… the living.. of life, completely wrong. Completely contrary to what would actually be healthy to us. Its a simple fact. Blunt in its trueness. Immediately apparent in its appearance.
What are we making our lives out of?
I have to wonder,… has the question really been asked?
And if it was, would we know that the materials that we have used thus far.. are clearly not working to serve the better ends of our own worlds, or the worlds of the people around us.

Investments that seem to be proliferated throughout our entire culture.
Of the Girls of my generation; raised to think that sexual appeal, was both a natural, and attractive asset to the feminine character.
Tini Bikinis, that they don’t make in Tahiti, but people wear them like they do. Showing off 90% of their body skin area, allowing for all the guys on the beach, or in the pool, or at the parties to get a “good” glimpse of their fashion diva candy shops.
Maskera makeup that is made in masses these days, and can be applied to any femine face, to make thine facial skin smoother, her eyelashes darker, her eyebrows thinner, and her lips more constrastly defined. With the general goal being in the end; to make girls more “noticeable”
Hundreds of thousands of different clothing designers and accessory outfitters committed to suiting out all the kids in the latest of the “late” “cool and hot” gear. Shirts and skirts, and dresses designed to give girls the most amount of skin area shown as possible.
And in the end, with all these things accepted and delivered, commercialized and standardized through practically all areas of societies public, you have to wonder... what all this for?
To be honest, the prospect of a bikini confuses me. The purpose of a bathing suit is to be able to go to the pool, or the beach, and get wet, without water ruining clothes, or staying to wet for too long. If people didn’t have bathing suit material on them when they got in the pool, then there clothes would be both heavy and uncomfortable to wear while in the water, and once they got out of the water the clothes would stay wet and eventually lose alot of the fabrics integrity. Bathing suits were created to avoid those effects.
And yet today, in the modern world, the bikini is used far more about fashion than it is ever used for its actual purpose. Today, the bikini is one of the worlds most sure fire way of creating sex appeal for the Feminine Species. Women posted on the front cover of 90% of all the magazines you see in store are women that are no doubt adorning the fashion of some skimpy flowery bikini. Considered eye candy to catch the eyes of either Men stimulating an effect of sexual lust, or the looks of fellow women who see the sex appeal and wish to mimic the image for their own selves.
These bikinis arn’t bathing suits. They are tools, weapons, of sexual appeal. And that fact is as clear as a bright yellow umbrella on a sunny day at the beach.
But still you could never tell me, or anybody else that the bathing suit was actually intended to be that way. The creation of a bathing suit was never intended to be a fashion statement, or even a jab at sex appeal. There isnt anything fashionable about the reason we wear bathing suits.
So why would we try to put a sexual statement into wearing them? Why would we highlight sexual appeal, in a peice of clothing that is meant for a utilitarian purpose?  That is simply to have clothes that can get wet, but dry quickly afterwards. We people, are people of civilization. We build structures and tools, and materials for the purpose of serving a purpose. But what happens when the purpose is to make and portray our image in a manner that is perverted.

And this perversion of interest can be seen to occur all across the board of our worlds. It’s not just the feminine side that has been added this superfluous element of villanry.
Of the guys fashion.. There has been fashion in the past. And with it some sorts of effects.  But those fashion trends that we see within the new decade seem to be much more fiendish and riggid than those trends that we saw before.
Today there has become a onset of guys getting tattoos to show off themselves. Oversized watches, billboard hats, funku clothing. Those are some of the more thuggish looks that ive seen around and you can see that they are meant to intimidate others more than anything else. Those types of looks that don’t exactly inspire any type of moderate temperatures or good honest relations but i still wouldn’t say that these looks would be the worst of what todays trends have to offer.
The division of mass amounts of people through the different types of styles that are out there and trending. Through all the different groups of people, those interested in sports, those interested in music, those interested in health... today there is more to say for those people who fit into those in crowds....
Maybe because we have had so much time too develop these social arenas, it has come to a point where any particular social circle you might choose to swing towards... comes complete with a social heirachy that goes three levels or more off the ground floor.  And with the more levels of the “Social in” that you add, the more it seems that the fashion is meant to divide people rather than unite them together.

And through all of it, my question is this. We have seen in the modern day, the peoples, and civilizations of peoples rise into towering structures that seem to touch the sky itself. We have built aircraft that can carry us around the world complete within only a few hours. We have created complex anecdotes and vaccines to imperceivably small diseases that effect our own human anatomy. We have built rockets that can fly thousands of feet into the sky, break the atmosphere and take orbit up in space. We have performed all these supernatural feats of accomplishment that could probably never in a million years been even faintly conceived by our ancestors from years of civilizations past. Where now, in this society of ultimate progressions, is all the strength of character? The clear set standard of values and purpose?
Has it ever been with us? And If it had existed before, to where has it gone now?

Despite all the contraptions set by the businesses, and the advertisement schemes its a basic fact that America is a nation of productivity. We should be setting our peoples up for life in the world, not tearing them down. These high gloss fashions that do nothing but show excess flare and glamour, actually have no constitutional value to our societies. I think the civilities of our world need to definitely reassess the types of standards that we would wish to hold about the premises of our worlds.
Define our worlds with good character, and positively enhanced ideas that will effect our worlds in a way that will be of benefit to us in the years of the future to come. Give us the conceptual materials that we need to succeed, instead of materials that will expire and fall apart much before we put them to good use within our own lives.

But who knows. Things do change. Its a fact of human history.

I just hope that the future that will in the next moment become our history will not be lacking the materials we peoples of the modern day need so dearly.
