Thank you
Thank You
Thank you for your smile
That brightened my day, when it was oh so cloudy grey.
Cloudy grey. It was stoney grey.
And you came through with that smile of yours, and smashed my stoney grey right into a million little colorful peices...
Sprinkled out onto the floor like spilled sugar. I couldve laughed at the sight of it.
You busted me out!
Out of that prison I was so petrified in, Fossilized in the pewter of my own induced self-absorbation.
Eyes bent on the ground.
Head bent on my hand,
Hand bent on a arm, bent on by the elbow sitting bent on a desk,
I was bent on down.
Glued to my frown, and not scheduled soon to turn around, with nothing but the selfish sting stitchings of my tears...
But here you come, from around the corner of nowhere in particular, with a million dollar smile that has nothing to do with me.
Funny how that bought me out.
Your smile drew my eyes up and lifted my spirit just like that...
and for something you make look so effortless, you really did so much.
I could never in a million years thank you enough,
so I'll at least tell you once.
"Thank you."
I love this...I am the person describing the thank you and its you I am thanking...
