Chakra Imagery: The Heart Energy

The Fourth Chakra: The Heart Energy

The fourth chakra is the heart energy, and is located aligned to the lungs heart and chest cavity.
This energy center deals with a person's feelings of relation, connection and love. Also referred
to as the Air chakra, the Heart energy is the energy center of of our relation with both our own
personal inner world, and the world around us. For the Heart Energy i was sure that i wanted a
tree to be the center object of the source meditation. Not only does a tree create the oxygen that
all animal life needs to survive on earth, but it also takes in a ingredient given by those animals.
To me, this trait was the epitome of connection and relation. What person on this earth does not
take in this vital ingredient made by this ancient organism? All of human civilization relies on oxygen
created by the tree’s of earth, therefore what point could be better to be positioned when trying to
see that all life is connected and our relation to the world around us should be cherished and fostered
with the best of our abilities. This is the Source Meditation For the Heart Energy.

Heart Chakra - The Tallest Tree in the World

A man sits under the branches of the tallest tree in the world. Its roots run deep,
its branches reach far and wide. Right here in a small grove where he planted this
tree as a boy, he sits and breaths in and out. In and out. A breeze blows gently through
the grove and the flowers sway, the tall grass sings, and the branches of the tallest tree
in the world dance. The branches dance, and the man knows the song that they
dance to. A song of connection and interrelation of all living things on earth. Right now,
as the man sits the tree is exchanging life with the entire world. Through its leaves from
the branches that reach far and wide, it takes in carbon dioxide from the very breeze that
blows through its leaves, produced from the lungs of the animals of earth. And in turn the
great tree releases oxygen. The Man, as he sits in the breeze watching the flowers sway
and tall grass sing, breathes deeply this oxygen in from the air created by the tree. The
very same substance that will fill the lungs people and animals across the globe. The Man
would not be able to lift a finger without that the tree gives, and without organisms like the
man, the trees life would not be possible. Life dependent on life, one cycle leading into
another cycle. The interconnection between them is indivisibly intertwined at the smallest
of levels. The man sits at the base of the Great tree, at the base of the miracle of connection,
simply breathing. In and out.
