The Dust Rises!

The Dust Rises

An unthoughtful stranger passes by quickly by the coffee shop window sill And in his wake, a breath of wind is passed by silent kept wood And then...
off into the air...
the universe is launched!
A million Stars launch up into open space Dancing around with feather tipped ball room shoes,
All spinning and twirling in the shaft lighted air A million planets are thrown into heaven beginning their natural celestial orbits.
Round and round,
Up and down,
An entire universe is born dancing For a hundred and thirty three seconds they drift through eternity. Only to land right back on the window sill,
Still the same universe they were just an exhilarating moment before Flatly waiting for their magic to begin anew.
And myself, A wonderstruck child
Staring at the now a clear space in open air Having just experienced the magic show of a lifetime
