The First Chakra: The Root Energy

The first is the root chakra. Located at the base of the spine this energy center forms the base from which all the other chakras spring. Also referred to as the earth chakra, the Root energy is the energy center of foundation and grounding. People’s place in the world, sense of security, and personal power are relatable to this energy. The Root Energy was the second energy for me to come up with. It came along with the daydreamt fantasy of mine of a carved inscription of a symbol made on a stone wall. This one symbol carrying a meaning that spoke volumes with its one syllable, and something that could not be erased. Once i got the idea to make the chakra meditations, this daydream quickly went down for the spot of the Root Chakra and i feel it fit perfectly. Take a look for yourself…

Root Chakra - The Symbol in stone

Man on the floor of a very dark cave in front of the stone face of the cave wall.

He is sitting alone in a meditative posture in solid perfect peace breathing in, and out.

Much like the wall he sits in front of, he is not going to move. Not for you, and not for the next person
in this minute, or the next. The man is meant to be there. And he is there.The wall behind him has on
it carved, in stone, an insignia. A sort’ve symbol completely unique to any other symbol on earth.
The insignia is not a symbol of all men everywhere. It is a symbol of this man.

To anybody that had not seen the insignia before and learned what it meant,
it would be no more meaningful than any other foreign letter seen by anybody.

But when seen by the individual sitting in front of it, he knows exactly what it means.
Everything it means. And it means alot.

And he knows that he must keep it.

Sometimes darkness will come,

Seeking to erase what has been wrote, to take down the insignia and what it means.
Some things are the enemy of meaning, such as the nature of chaos.

In times like these, the insignia glows brightly, Shedding light on the Man. And the Man sits there,
without moving, not even from darkness. Breathing in, and out. In and out.
