The Second Chakra: The Sacral Energy
The first imagery exercise I came up with. Thought of this while trying to cope with the constant
storm of emotion i got from the world around me. The sacral chakra is located behind the lower
stomach, just above the crouch and below the navel. This energy center is the energy of feelings
and emotions and is basically the emotional seat of the spiritual body. It is also referred to as the
water energy. The imagery involves a lone man, on a tiny rock in the middle of the ocean. My life
was at the time i conceived this, very chaotic, with constant movement from day to day. I found
myself getting very caught up in my emotions in these times, and very often eventually getting
emotionally tipped over by the perpetual drama that i found myself around. This imagery was
what i came up with for myself to help coach myself through taking the blows and bouts of feeling
with a little more solidarity.

Sacral Chakra - An Ocean Still
A Man sits in a meditative posture in the middle of the sea, on a small rock just big enough to hold him. In a meditative posture, he steadily breaths in and out. The waves crest and crash all around him, the wind blows strongly, the sun shines brightly. And he sits here. Amongst the ocean. Around him there is constant movement. Constant motion. But he remains seated and is still.
The sea is always moving, back and forwarth, back and forwarth.
The waves are always crashing, up over, and down, up, over, and down again.
But take a look into the man’s eyes and you would know that within this man, everything is right. Everything is how it should be. Inside the man, the sea might as well not be moving at all.
Much like a small clay cup filled of tea on a large table, the contents of such perfectly still and undisturbed.
